Junto al fotoperiodista franc\u00e9s Sylvain Julienne, fueron unos de los pocos fot\u00f3grafos extranjeros que tuvieron la oportunidad de cubrir el d\u00eda del golpe para la prensa mundial.<\/p>\n<p>En septiembre de 1973 Chas Gerretsen recibi\u00f3 con la Medalla de Oro Robert Capa, un premio otorgado por el Overseas Press Club a la mejor fotograf\u00eda realizada fuera de Estados Unidos que requiera excepcional valor y medios (&#8220;<i>best published photographic reporting from abroad requiring exceptional courage and enterprise<\/i>&#8220;).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/chasgerretsen\/chile-the-photo-archive-1973-74\/widget\/video.html\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"> <\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>En palabras del autor: &#8220;\u00bfQu\u00e9 hay en el libro?
